Membership

Would you like to join HPS and this local group? Membership of HPS Monmouthshire group is open only to members of the Hardy Plant Society. If places are available, family, friends and other visitors are also welcome at our meetings and events. If you’re not a member of HPS, please consider joining to help us grow the group and further improve our programme.

We have currently around 80 members and we are pleased that membership is growing year on year.

Members of the national Hardy Plant Society are given automatic membership of the HPS Monmouthshire Group and reduced entrance charges on confirmation of their HPS membership number.

Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data

Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information to provide services are:

• Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:

• We need to hold the names and contact information of members of the Monmouthshire Branch of the Hardy Plant Society and others with similar interests. This information is used to invite you to attend local events which we hope that you will enjoy.
• We need to hold HPS membership numbers, because we offer discounts for some local events to current members.
• We do not share your data with anyone else.

• From the national Hardy Plant Society organisation (HPS)

How long we keep information

• All information is deleted immediately at your request
• Information received from HPS is deleted after you have ceased to be a member for 12 months
